Matthew Kelso serves as the Managing Partner of The DeSoto County Brief, where he is dedicated to delivering impactful local news and fostering community engagement. In addition to this role, he is a financial advisor at a prominent wealth management firm, helping individuals and businesses navigate their financial futures. He also serves on the boards of DeSoto Family Theatre, the DeSoto County Economic Development Council, and the Southaven Chamber of Commerce—organizations that play a crucial role in strengthening the community. He looks forward to seeing The DeSoto County Brief’s vision come to life through the dedication of its partners, who share in the mission to inform, connect, and uplift DeSoto County.

Andrew Bartolotta a highly experienced and talented social media manager and marketer that is known throughout DeSoto County as the go-to guy for growing and promoting businesses online. He is currently responsible for promoting and managing the social media for multiple businesses throughout DeSoto County. He’s been a connector for many non-profits, public speaker for events, and a community builder!

Evan House was born and raised in Desoto County. He graduated from Hernando High School and went on to get a degree in Computer Science from Mississippi State University. Since graduating, he has provided IT support for various Healthcare Providers throughout Mississippi, Tennessee, and Georgia. Evan’s main goal is to ensure that Desoto County Brief’s high quality content is available to our community at all times especially our livestream broadcasting of sports.

Perry House serves as a Limited Partner and Director of DCB Gametime operations, The DeSoto County Brief’s livestream subsidiary, in coordination with Matthew Kelso. Perry’s goal is to supply easy access to a high-quality viewing experience for Desoto County athletics. Professionally, Perry is an engineer at a mid-major medical device company, providing surgeons top of class user experience and enabling patients to live their fullest life. A graduate of Hernando High School and Mississippi State University and active member of a local church, Perry brings a strong connection for his community.
